Description of the Firebird F-7412 WD2 knife:
For travel purposes this folding knife is purpose built. It can be compacted to fit into any pocket and carried with no additional sheath. The model F7412-WD2 just focuses on use in the field. Its blade can be easily folded into its empty pocket inside of the handle, and is held firmly in an open position by a standard G-lock locking mechanism. The principle of the lock action is based on the use of a pin with a spring butting against the heel of the blade. Blade material is steel 440C, and it falls into the category of stainless steel alloys, with good resistance to prolonged humidity. Throughout the length of the knife, the Firebird F7412-WD2 has a smoothly sharpened blade. The knife blade reflects only the direct sun’s rays, but in other cases looks almost opaque. It has undergone a special Stonewash treatment - rough grinding using large abrasives. This technique is currently very popular.
For the handle, the producers decided to use a natural and environmentally friendly wood material. The pads are painted in a dark color, although when viewed look more of a bright fibre. The knife includes a metal clip that allows you to hang the knife from a belt.
